Minnie Dlamini’s show titled ‘Roast’ or whatever it is,on Showmax started weeks ago,features the embattled media personality in a staged audience where she is purportedly asked about her previous relationships,she can be heard talking sorts of things about her exes,swearing and at some stage referring to their private parts…but when Podcast And Chill with Mac G used those exact words as ‘smash’,the so-called ‘activists’ were quick to condemn the podcaster.
Mac G maintained that this was not a genuine criticism but a sponsored narrative by the apartheid established media houses aimed at undermining the growth and popularity of his uncensored podcast.Now today ,to his his followers this ticks a box,because Minnie Dlamini was also one of those people to make claims that the podcast is ‘misogynistic’ on twitter,while advocating for a failed attempt to ‘cancel’ the podcast,she is the one today on the same platform that was founded upon racial discrimination values,trumpeting the same language like ‘smash’ on the opposite gender,none of the critics are vocal,maybe because they fear the Naspers because it is owned by ‘white monopoly capital ‘ . All these vindicates Mac G’s stance on his critics and the mainstream media narratives.
Understanding the sentiments around the noise and Mac G’s response at the time,one would concluded that ,from the point of view of his followers,like as if in politics,all politicians sponsored by apartheid beneficiary businesses like as Naspers did fund the ANC under Ramaphosa,those politicians must be painted as the ‘good’ in the society by these media houses,then those politicians seeking to break boundaries are painted as corrupt ,now same here,media personalities who break boundaries by establishing their own platforms will be painted as poisonous by these media houses and those who worships and work for them,are painted as cool cats to the entertainment followers.
Youngings which currently airs on Showmax, has nothing against Yizo Yizo.Yizo Yizo which about 25 years later still airs on Netflix,can be considered a genesis,while on the other hand,Youngings just a fading trend.
Produced and created in the late 90s,Yizo Yizo was never about what was happening around Kasies and a teens lifestyle at the times right after apartheid,but it was an opportunity for a reality story telling,which was delivered through dramatic scenes rather than a documentary,part of this is true given that the series was fully supported by the department of higher education.

DJ Zinhle has issued a social media generated selfie video early this week,to “explain” herself,after she faced hostile voices over the past weekend,with residents of Witbank and Mzansi ,through social media,the Jozi based dance music DJ is accused of making insensitive remarks on unemployment.
“ I was just saying that in this country I feel like a lot of young people don’t have opportunities that’s what I meant by unemployable right and maybe my choice of words was wrong ”
Her accusers are saying that the late AKA’s baby mama used an unidentified podcast platform to say that Mzansi youth is ‘unemployable’ ,particularly those from Witbank where she was looking to open her boutique,there they charge,she claimed that she struggle to hire three people with ‘skills’ to sell earings.
But in a video,Zinhle appeared humble and endlessly asked for apology,especially to Witbank,which she says the residents habe already protested her presence there in words.
Those who came into support of her controversial remarks which are unlikely to disappear anytime soon in a country with the highest unemployment among the youth,such as DJ Shimza and Prince Kaybee,and Sizwe Dlomo who failed to sugarcoat her,were left alone with the cloud as the DJ ,who seemed sincere ,came to make the public apology.

Late Thursday a court order was issued against FOREX lord Grootman,by a court here in Jozi following an application by his baby mama and ex Gcinile Twala,through her lawyers.
The specific order,is temporarily granted in favour of Gcinile against her baby daddy whom they once made one of famous powerful couples in a dangerous love game.It means from now on,Grootman wherever he is,is not supposed to use social media to ‘harass’ Gcinile or notably to post any videos or photos which are sexual in nature or ‘nude’ ,the definition of a nude is generally vague in law.
The date shown on the order which is posted on Gcinile’s photo sharing social media account,shows that an appearance is set to 29 July 2024,that is because when an order is granted against someone to stop doing something or saying something about someone,in the absence of the person whom the order is granted against,a compensation must be made maybe to balance the right of that person,Grootman in this instance. As the order itself clearly states,that Grootman can at any time before the 29th of July approach the court to set the order aside,an interim order is not something that is necessarily granted on truthful facts but it remains the responsibility of the lawyer to make sure that the grounds should not be misleading upon which the order was granted,to the court,in nowdays especially issues arising out of social media.On the 29th if Grootman doesn’t show up in court ,the order may be made permanent ,something more of a protection order.
It is not unusual to see these types of orders,in this drama,it all emanates from a sex tape which emerged on monday showing a woman giving a man a blowjob,the woman looks like Gcinile but JOZI NEWS is unable to verify it’s authenticity or the people on the video,following exchanges of screenshots the week before,it is then what led to a believe on social media that the male who’s genitalia only appears but not a face is Grootman and the woman is surely Gcinile,where the video really comes from is unknown,the background of the case is not mentioned on the order,it is also unclear if a separate case that can lead to the person leaking such videos being fined or imprisoned has being brought against Grootman as he is fingered by some,the veracity of a legal proof as evidence around electronic crimes is often time-consuming since social media companies and phone networks may be required to produce login information in a case a suspect claims a hack,but this is a process which may take years since these social media companies too may not easily surrender tye personal information or they may actually have a limited access to user’s accounts.
Rumours are that Grootman is broke,and Gcinile dumped him upon realising that he can’t sponsor their lavish lifestyle anymore,and has moved on with another man;also is a collaborator with the cops to nail Grootman on financial scams allegations,but it is also alleged that Gcinile was also a partner in crime in all these,something which led to Grootman’s bitterness.
The drama in this court interdict though,surrounds the lawyer for Gcinile Adv Mathari Manyisa,who posted the court interdict showing Grootman mother’s personal residential address on twitter,something that itself can be a subject of misconduct,it never stops there,there lawyer with 2-year experience as an advocate,spent most of her hours arguing on twitter using a court language,against screenshots believed to be from a tiktok account belonging to Grootman and another one from Instagram,her comment sections were open on the tweet and she has been engaging comments that are controversial and dehumanizing,even retweeting some,she has even went as far as saying that she is drafting a contempt of court case against Grootman based on the tiktok account,it is unusual behavior from lawyers to do such on social media,her previous posts doesn’t however suggest that she is someone unprofessional. Also lawyers don’t take court actions without the instructions of their clients,and here it becomes worse because the lawyer is an advocate,she takes instructions from the attorney upon the attorney’s consultation with a client,in this case,Betela Attorneys Incorporated.
The young advocate who also gained followers from the saga,also striked a controversial point when she wrote that anyone who was ‘scammed’ by Grootman should come and report on her tweet,the court order granted doesn’t give her that authority,usually lawyers don’t become witnesses on cases they deal with and here she deals with a separate case,as one user pointed out,that she or will also implicate her client,Gcinile in those scams.
JOZI NEWS did WhatsApp Gcinile,on allegations that she is part of the ‘scams’,as soon as she answers her response will be added,similar questions were sent to her lawyer through an e-mail on Thursday with no response yet being made.
But where in the world is Grootman,what does he have to say about all this drama and allegations against him,does he still have control over his social media accounts,those are critical questions we hope to get from him too,if he does respond to our query or consequently through the court proceedings if the matter doesn’t get settled at the back of the court.
There’s nothing to suggest that the papers are questionable,in previous matters,the lawyer would draft a public statement used as a PR to convey the message in a language understood by the public and intended to the person whom the court order has been granted against,which would also not mention personal details found on a court order, though it is stated in this court order that it should be posted on twitter and Instagram, Gcinile does not have a twitter and the same order appears to have been posted on a personal Instagram account of Adv Mathari,still with personal details appearing.
Twitter platform,which has changed its name to X after being acquired by a Mzansi born $Billionaire Elon Musk but retained its webname,has shockingly verified a fake account imitating a KZN Instagram model and former alleged side-chick of Malusi Gigaba.
According to the twitter handle Cindy_Makhatin with almost 300k followers lured by the deceptive use of Cindy’s pictures and imitation, it was verified by X ‘Since May 2024′ . JOZI NEWS became aware the account was fake amid the circulation of Cindy’s own sex video early this year.
X started using the blue badges not necessarily for authentic accounts but for anyone who can afford to pay a subscription,since 2023 it’s policy says an account that qualifies for verification must not have a sign of ‘deception’ and must have phone numbers, JOZI NEWS has several times tried to reach to Makhathini on.her phone numbers with no proper response butnshe have on the Christmas eve amid a false sex scandal linking her to a minor boy,explained on her Instagram that she has no twitter account,after another imitation Instagram account with huge followers was deleted by Meta,it is unclear if that same imitator is the same one behind the X account.
After the wave of ex sweethearts Gcinile and Grooman’s sex video went viral on monday, dubbed ‘1 of 35’ on social media,late tuesday another one broke out dubbed part 2.
While on Monday JOZI NEWS was unable to get comments from any of the former couples about the circumstances surrounding the emergence of the video to the public and that if the previous screenshots were legitimate,given the prevalence of fake news nowdays and fake accounts especially to prominent people or those considered influential in nowday culture,at least JOZI NEWS can confirm that the second video dubbed part 2 making rounds,is an old video that was posted around 2020 during Malusi Gigaba and Norma Gigaba break-up,at the time,it was speculated that it was that sex video which finally caused Norma to walk away from that marriage,and a video of two people,female ontop with faces hidden from a side vicinity,in a bedroom ,ontop of a bed,with a woman screaming, ‘limnandi isende babe’ ,purported to be Malusi Gigaba being woman-on-topped by a side chick,whether that video itself despite who really did it is real or action,it remains unknown.
It must be said though that,a Valentine’s celebration photo of Grootman and Gcinile half photo in a dog-style position,is real which was posted consensual on both or any of the couples’ photo sharing social media accounts, downloaded by JOZI NEWS around 2021,where Gcinile is wearing red tops bending on a bed edge of a red-and-white rose decorated bedroom with candles.
Following the week of online screenshots of exchanges of tense text messages ,allegedly between local young FOREX lord known as Grootman who has since been the target of cops accusing him of fraud,finally a sex video of the once Instagram powerful couple is out ,circulating on social media.
According to a recently signed law by the first-citizen-of-the-country,an intentional posting of such videos or photos with out owner’s consent could lend the party being responsible to about two-year jail term or a R200k fine.But when such content identifies two parties it also becomes a dispute under copyright since the other party is also the rightful owner,though it doesn’t make it less of an offense,also the description of a nude is another dispute.
Leaking of nudes or sex videos involving celebs is not unheard of in Mzansi,recently after the law was signed in,Prince Kaybee’s then side-chick, DJ Hazel Mahazard,leaked the nudes of Prince Kaybee,though somehow the law is believed to curb some aspects of abusive relationships ,in the case of Prince Kaybee,no one said anything infact he was subjected to a further public harassment and secondary victimization,including by those calling themselves ‘GBV’ activists such as Ntsiki Mazwai,who made insensitive remarks ,so did the Woman For Change organization give Hazel a follow on Instagram.
Malusi Gigaba,was too,once a victim of a sex video leak,but he instead lost his post as a minister,and was subjected to online harassment including by some specific journalists on their Twitter timeline,with the name ‘Gigabyte’ ,in his case the leak was made by Cindy Makhathini,nothing was said about her as a perpetrator,a cartoonist Zapiro went as far as drawing a cartoon of that sex video as a humour despite his right to dignity.
The texts messages circulating last week,are potentially alleging that Gciniwe,the now ex girlfriend of Grootman and his baby mama,may have been in an abusive relationship perpetrated by Grootman.
In another text,it also shows that Grootman himself may have been in an abusive relationship perpetrated by Gcinile,in this instance a financial abuse,the current Domestic Violence laws also recently modified,identifies a financial abuse as a situation where one partner financially exploits the other party unjustly and for personal financial gain.Grootman claims in the text has this description,but what the punishment is,for this offence,the law becomes unclear,Grootman claims that he has been going the length of scamming people to sponsor their expensive lifestyle for his now ec who may have dumped him once the cops put him on radar.
The video circulating since over night,shows the two couple engaging in oral sex or the female parter offering the male a blowjob,which shows her face but not the one of the male due to how the recording device was placed,the setting is a romantic one perhaps in a hotel or luxury home,with expensive alcohol bottles such as Moet aside and roses,on couch,this is indeed typical lifestyle of the former couples,on another scenario the female is squirting ontop of an expensive chair while the male points his genitalia towards hers.
The texts purported to be from Grootman,did warn that a sextape may be leaked,now that the quality HD video is out,who did it,who will take a liability,and if the two former couple indeed acknowledge it is them in it,remains unaswered as attempts by JOZI NEWS to get hold of the two was unsuccessful this morning.
Abusive relationships are cause of concern locally,with many go unreported,from both males and females,and some resulting into homicide while some into suicide in men,due to the nature of how the stereotypes in the society has made it seem acceptable that men can’t be victims of domestic violence,and the notion of men being ‘providers’ .
In 2009 as house music was on a mainstream climax in Mzansi,a year or two before the CD era was phased by digital downloads leading somewhat to a downtrend in a local culture of compilation albums.In Middelburg,a town next to Witbank in Mpumalanga,a young producer was in the rise by the name of DJ Cuebur,who did his productions on his backroom in a township known as Mhluzi,it was the era of demos,when up coming producers released their music on CDs and circulated them across,these tracks would be unsigned some not even registered with no publishing rights,alternatively rendering the vulnerable to an official release or remix to the next established DJ or artist.Cuebur im Mhluzi was a well known local producer,one of the few and enjoyed support to locals,he made consecutive demos before a recognition in the last days of Soul Candi first round in 2011.
On the other side in Witbank,an economic city of Mpumalanga before Middelburg,between Pretoria and Jozi ,about 55 min or 30 min away,apart from the city knowing DJ G-Force and DJ Trevor as their liberation icons in the dance culture,around 2009 another DJ in his late 20s or early 30s was on the rise,as a local popular producer,who also produced consecutive house music demos in his backroom,in the Lynville section of Kwa-Guqa towship in Witbank.
Again in Jozi,a 15-min of fame SABC 1 dancing competition show known as Jika Majika was giving a rise to local female DJs,as the country was still celebrating Durban’s DJ C-ndo as ‘the first lady of house music’,DJ Zinhle was a lady amongst those spinning decks on the SABC 1 popular once or twice a week primetime show,and in 2009 perhaps two or one year later after the show came to an end,the second lady of house music made her way in the mainstream,her name was DJ Zinhle,through an album titled Feminine Touch in 2009 ,under Oskido’s Kalawa Jazzme Records,many of the tracks on that album can’t even be recognised today,but there was one track that launched Zinhle actually into a club culture brand,it was the first or second track titled Pepe(original mix) .
While the track was new to the country,it was never new to the townships of Witbank and Middelburg in Mpumalanga,maybe they knew and celebrated in raves during a demo album launch of DJ Sgubhu in his section of Lynville,in a streetbash style at Hectorway street,months before or a year before.
Same in Mhluzi towship where Cuebur comes from,the track was never new to that generation that used to watch Cuebur in nearest chillas parks playing on decks,he was a known followed producer in Middelburg town.
But the most fascinating question at the time was,who’s track is it actually, DJ Cuebur or DJ Sgubhu,both never came with straight forward answers but the track in Witbank,it would appear as DJ Sgubhu’s and in Middelburg DJ Cuebur’s.As it did appear on both of their demos,one fact is that DJ Sgubhu knew the irony behind the titel Pepe ‘s real spelling and pronunciation which had been altered to eliminate any possible explicit.
When the track was heard on local airwaves ,but accredited to DJ Zinhle who would turn into a super-star within months,it was not that much of a shock perhaps to these Mpumalanga communities because they knew the track months or a year before and their they were fascinated by the fact that it appeared of the young DJs demos,some argued that the one on DJ Sgubhu it was actually the remix of the one on Cuebur,this JOZI NEWS is still unable to verify today but one thing for sure then ,the track that launched DJ Zinhle’s career is the same one on DJ Cuebur’s demo.
This striked an interesting point later in 2023 when Cuebur who is since based in Jozi,would come to cry tears by writing on his personal social media account,without naming Oskido or Zinhle,the producer who mastered the Zakes Bantwini’s Osama(original mix),expressed that until today he doesn’t know how Pepe(original mix) was released on DJ Zinhle’s album.
The clear meaning was that he was never compensated nor informed about the track being dropped on DJ Zinhle’s album,on same post ,Cuebur said that he wasn’t yet emotionally ready to talk about the dispute surrounding the release of the song.
Currently the online communities are sharpening arguments and trading insults among each other since from this morning across the country,this time DJ Zinhle is accused of having directly insulted the unemployed youth from Witbank, claiming that they lack ‘skills’ to sell earings,that comes as it is reported that she was trying to open a branch of her eating boutique in a mall owned by billionaire Johann Rupert in Witbank.
